Last week Gemma and her NSW Futsal side ( indoor soccer ) took out the National Title and over 4 days of competition they were undeafeted , which was exciting enough BUT today she got a letter to say she has made the
National u/15's team. WOW WOW WOW
That's my girl.
Congratulations to Gemma, Ill have to buy an Australian Jersey so she can sign it.
ReplyDeleteWow Pete.
ReplyDeleteThats fantastic news. I'm with Vic, except that I'll have to buy a bigger Australian Jersey. Does she get to go to Bolivia, Khazakistan or just New Zealand?
Was hoping for Spain, but Gem goes to UK in October for 16 nights, To Rhys,Wales for a tournament ( aparantly Everton's Academy is there), then trains with Everton and Man City coaches, goes to Man U and Chelsea clubs and plays games against some of these club sides, etc etc and goes to a EPL game.
ReplyDeleteDon't know why she wants to go really!
"and plays games against some of these club sides". Pete, I reckon a group of young girls could beat Chelsea at the moment as they have been playing like a pack of old women!!
ReplyDeleteCap'n Hat just booked first injury of the season
ReplyDeleteBTW congrats to Gemma that is a great achievement and dont worry bout those scummy northern clubs there is only 1 team on that list that counts
ReplyDeleteGemma and the rest of the Crowson's that is great news. Pete just watch the exchange rate when she goes so you can put in your orders if you trust her with a credit card. Better remember to pack the Vegemite.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Gemma, Crouch you must be one proud Dad.
ReplyDeleteI can only brag (and I will)that I played against a national U/15 player on an indoor soccer pitch at Woy Woy.
