Is it coincidence?

Well as we all figured out a while ago training is off again and chances are we wont be playing this weekend neither. It was probably a good thing that we missed last Saturdays game as we were struggling with numbers.

More importantly, I have been informed by a reliable source who has known him since he was a baby and wishes to remain anonymous, That our friend the Capt. , had hired some professional help to secure that nothing would come between him celebrating a happy 50th with his mates and us playing soccer that Saturday.

Coincidence or not?

Now we may disregard this as the rain persists on keeping us off the parks. But isn't it interesting how these washouts will be replayed at a further date and our friend just so happens to be carrying an injury at the moment.

I don't question if its a coincidence or not, I think its some powerful shit.

And have a question for Mr Hat, "Have you been to the Quack and if so, when does it look like we will kick a ball again?"

  1. Shit !! I thought it was just another nice hat with feathers to match my boa. And that drum with the bones and feathers just looked like a fancy bongo. Anyway once i put the hat on and hit the drum I felt like dancing, and as the guests saw the other night on video, by then I can't help myself!! Sorry guys but the quack reckons at least another 4 weeks, and the Saints are playing Collingwood in Melb Sat 3 July so I also want to go to that, so dont wash your gear.

  2. As I recall the other night at Hat's he mentioned that the injury wasn't that bad , he was foxing so that he could watch the intended game and have a drink and that nothing would keep him from a game.
    What is the real story?

  3. How to Do a Rain Dance / Get Rid of Rain

    1. Never do a rain dance on a hill, you can roll down causing injuries to old joints.
    2. Make sure you have a lot of room so you
don't run into anything and drop your beer.
    3. Spin around in clockwise circles.
    4. Make up your own rain chant. It should be rythmical and easy to say fast eg Reccos, reccos, reccos, reccos ..... reccos.
    5. Yell your rain chant while spinning around in circles, twirling your skirt and hair in the air.
    6. If you are trying to get rid of rain, spin in
counterclockwise circles and say your chant backwards Soccer, soccer, soccer, soccer.....soccer.
