Don't fear boys I'm back. Enjoyed the Royal nuptuals and had a chance to speak with a number of wedding guests who, believe it or not, follow our blog religiously and they have nominated to me some of their favourite Relics.
Being an eager football fan Elton told me he follows our blog and is particularly fond of Dallas and his uncompromising approach to play. He said he likes it hard. When next in the Australia Elton is looking forward to catching up with the Relics hard man.
Camilla, the future Queen of Australia, was gushing in her admiration of the Axe. She said that she has caught glimpses of the Axe on the blog and is also led to believe that images of her are frequently viewed by the Axe! She told me that she thought she and the Axe would make a stunning couple.
I also managed to catch up with the Queen's favourite Corgi. Whilst I have trouble talking Corgi he seemed to fold his tail between his legs and cover his butt when I showed him a picture of Howler.
The Duke when he wasn't asleep or picking his nose said in a gruff voice that he did enjoy the style of our play and like the Relics, when he sits for dinner, he is at the bottom of the table.
I caught up with the Queen who impressed me with her knowledge of football and she could recount the careers of many talented and famous players. When I mentioned the name Mick Tempest she said "who?" When I threw the name Ian George at her she said, "oh, the Wyong Wizz!" She added that his hair was as grey as hers and he needed a haircut!
Prince Charles on the other hand said he couldn't give a toss about the Relics and that a man of his class, stature and arrogance naturally followed the Kincumber Superstars!
I managed to give Posh the flick for a few moments and caught up with Pippa, Kate's sister. It was amazing how much she knew about the Relics. She even said she may be on the sideline at Bloodtree cheering the team on Tuesday night. She had the following short comments about some other Relics:
Dukes - Overrated
Sledgin Ball - Polished
Sulo - Poetry in motion
Old Crow - Sir Alex Feguson (not!)
The Toe - Underrated
Shadow - Old fart
Statue - Suss!
Blackbeard - Dribbler
Darchinyan - Small package
Smokey - Brickwall
Flem - Big Arse
Kate's sister looks, a bit of alright to me!
ReplyDeleteBecks back in Australia for clash with Tossils.
ReplyDeleteI would like to clarify to any guest visiting our Blog so you don't get the wrong idea, when our well connected member of the Relic team Becks used the word 'Tossils' in the heading of his post, he is in fact referring to the Fossils (the team we play against on Tuesday).
I,ll show that %^&*ing Candle in the wind nancy boy what #$%^ing Crocodile @#$%ing Rock really means.....
ReplyDeleteDo you carry Howlers picture with you everywhere?
