Guilty!!!...-2 goals & -3 points.

Notification of Loss of Points M45A-2 Match 26th June

To Secretaries of Kincumber & Budgewoi Football Clubs,
CCF have determined that Kincumber M45A-2’s breached Regulation 2.2.3 b.ii on the 26 June 2010 in the match between KIN M45A-2 and BUD M45A’s as per the notice sent to Kincumber on the 1 July 2010.

After reviewing the response from Kincumber to the Breach notice it is my determination that Kincumber M45A-2’s will be subject to Loss of Points as per Regulation 2.4.11.

As such the score for this match will be updated to a 2-0 win to Budgewoi with 3 points awarded to Budgewoi. Kincumber will have the 2 goals and the 1 point from this match removed and also be subject to a further deductionof 2 points for this breach.

All parties have a right of appeal to the CCF Appeals Panel within 7 days of receipt of this determination. Appeals should be submitted by the Club Secretary and forwarded to the CCF Office accompanied by the appeal fee of $250

  1. Well that just plain sucks ! A complete absence of common sense, applied to a situation where there is sloppy writing and no easily understood reason for the rule. All that has to be done is for any newly drafted rules to be given to one or two people who realise that there is more than one age grade in the CCF, and have it reviewed. But no, a holier than thou attitude prevails. I'm just disappointed that these days I'm no longer prepared to try and change the world, but just prepared to sit back and whinge. Henry Fonda in on Golden Pond is now my "Grumpy Old Man" role model.

  2. From now on we should line up with cards and check every team we play against as I'm sure we will find ring ins aplenty. I don't care if it seems pedantic but I've lost all faith in the CCF for many reasons.

  4. I think we take it on the chin.

Any appeal will go to the CCF appeal panel, I've got a feeling they will be the same people that read the argument in the first place which wasn't addressed.

In my opinion 'Regulation 2.2.3 b.ii', is badly written and I think they know it.

This sport is expensive enough as it is!

If you do have a spare dollar find out what the odds are that this paragraph in the rules will be changed next year to read what they mean.
