Relics Reeling After Loss

The Relics’ are reeling after surrendering four second half goals in their 5-0 loss to the Tossils’ on the weekend.

The first ten minutes of the match was very promising for the Relics’ with the entire team pushing the ball around like seasoned first-graders. Despite the searing midday heat the boys from Kincumber really looked the goods and went into half time having matched the Tossils’ in all facets of the game.

Then the wheels fell off. The second half was poor. The Relics’ lost their passion to compete.

Coach Vic will need to dig deep into his coaching tool kit to find the tools to tune his men for their match against the Smugglers this week. Even though a draw guarantees the Relics’ a semi-final spot Coach Vic must rally his boys to push for a win. If Doylo can beat the Smugglers 3-1 so can the Relics!

Coach Vic must ignite the flame and fire the passion. No more mister nice guy!
Mickledinho must find his mojo!
It is time for all Relics’ to stand-up and give the remaining matches this season a red-hot go! C’Mon fellas…
Time to pull the finger out!
Time to play like Tarzan and not like Jane!
Time to play for yourself and your mate!
Time to add to the Relic legend!
Time to drink more beer!

  1. Sorry guys, musta been my fault.
So I will pass the blame onto Diamond who lost his own mojo years ago. He decided to rifle my kit bag and stole my mojo totem but instead of using it to his own advantage decided to flush it down the dunny bowl
