There are four teams in that predicament, the benefits of playing A grade.
ReplyDeleteThe other side of the coin eg. is the 35DS, they have 8 teams in their comp with 21 games to play just like us. They played 13 games so far with 3 to go if they don't get washed out.
Don't know about the rest of you but I rather be A grade and note that this team hasn't failed to field a full side yet.

ReplyDeleteHi lads,
I have been doing a bit of thinking – yeah, I know, unusual – but we (The Club) are to have a meeting with CCF in regards to reviewing the season 2010.
I just wanted to get a feel on what you boys thought about the over 45’s competition being treated as an “A” grade comp – because of the Champions of Champions – under the present structure, as you well know – this means that you have to play all your games – which means double headers – I realise this has been an exceptionally wet year we all have lost a lot of training & gamedays.
I have spoken to another player from Avoca & he says that they really struggle with the double header/make up game idea.
Can you please get a consensus amongst your respective teams & let me know.
Any feedback is always appreciated.
